6 TRE G LIVING LEGEND...................Brandon Hughes came up like many other kids that grew up in the system. He bounced from house to house in hopes of finding the one that could possibly be called home and, after a series of disappointments, found his own family in the streets of Alabama. Writing about his experiences would provide him an escape from his harsh reality. In fact, it provided him an escape from everything…well, almost everything. A seven year stint in prison (for charges he chooses to leave in the past) seemed to be the exclamation point on the future of Alabama’s youngest inmate but 4 months after his release, 6 Tre G’s life did a complete 180°. The buzz he developed behind bars as a fierce battle rapper on the prison yard leaked so far into the free world that he landed a lucrative 7 year deal through Warner Brothers with a net worth of $11 million. 6 Tre G dove head first into the production of his star studded debut and his newfound focus on all things music would eventually lead to his downfall. Business was mishandled and the deal fell through. Fighting the urge of returning to the streets, 6 Tre learned the ins and outs of the game and went on to found his own label, Darkhouse Music Group. As he had done once before, he built a name for himself and his new company, this time with the business decisions in his own hands. Several stumbling blocks and stepping stones later, he linked up with ABN affiliate Trae of Rap-A-Lot Records and emerged with “Dem Jayz”, a hit that is spreading like wildfire alongside a follow up sure to add fuel to the flames. As the newest member of Young Capone’s MP Clique (Money & Power Entertainment) and three man group Cotton Rowe, 6 Tre is proving himself a force to be reckoned with.
