At the end of the night, a unanimous decision by the judges found Willie Joe sharing the Almost Famous title with Jackie Chain. A true stunter, hes the first to tell you that he has Alabama on lock. Mr. VIP is the title of his upcoming independent release that describes his presence in his hometown of Huntsville and any town that he visits. He doesnt wait in line to get into clubs and he pops bottles all night. The fact that hes Korean and White, and he rhymes about pimping and hustling may bring Vanilla Ice to mind, but just ask anyone in Huntsville (and I did) and they will confirm his hood stamp of approval in the other A (Alabama).
John Fitzgerald began rapping in 5th grade and won his first talent show in 8th grade. He grew up on everything Dungeon Family, Outkast, Cool Breeze, as well as other southern artists such as, UGK, 3 6 Mafia, MJG & Eightball, and Master P. Lately, his inspiration comes from Paul Wall, Bun B and Mike Jones. Many of the above mentioned rappers hes hung out with personally, because when they come to his city hes backstage or in VIP politicking with them. As the Co/CEO of Pleazure House Productionz and the VP of Touch Zone Records he is the Executive Producer of his upcoming release, which features Little Webbie and Bun B. This project comes after a mixtape, with 15,000 circulating throughout the south. The same mixtape prompted DJ Toomp, who was one of the judges at Almost Famous, to call his manager the day after the event to express his interest in working with Jackie Mr. VIP Chain.
As the winner of Almost Famous, Jackie and his management team will be Atlanta reaping the benefits of their grand prize award, which includes studio time, a photo shoot, performance opportunities, media exposure, and the direct connect to Atlantas elite through the services of Verseus Entertainment Group.
