Playing my beautiful bass, learning something new every day, and being as individual and fabulous as I can be in this sometimes impossible place.

YAY: My Chemical Romance, HIM, Green Day, Placebo, Smashing Pumpkins, Blind Melon, Franz Ferdinand, Radiohead, Chili Peppers, The Wonderstuff, The Cure, Blur, Pulp, REM, Terrorvision amongst others. Also have a strange liking for big-hair power ballads and 80's shite.NAY: Westlife, Backstreet Boys, S Club 7, any repetitive house or dance music, jazz, reggae (including UB-fucking-40). I'd rather eat my own kneecaps.

If it's a bit gothic, an adventure, got a superhero and makes you think, I'll love it.NAY: Rom-coms, anything with Ben Affleck in it and all that drivel like Mean Girls. Ugh.
YAY: Red Dwarf, South Park, Jackass and Wildboyz (worth watching for the filthy laughing alone!), any nature documentary, weird freaks of nature shows, Father Ted, Most Haunted or anything with a supernatural vibe. NAY: Anything religious, political, sporting or to do with antiques.
Anything by Irvine Welsh - I have them all (Marabou Stork Nightmares - amazing), Perfume by Patrick Suskind, The Silver Castle by Clive James, Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden, any superhero comic books (X-Men and vintage Superman in particular), Stephen King, Dean R Koontz, any art or photography books - could get lost for hours.
Gary for being my man, Tim Burton for not being afraid to be himself, Rogue from the X-Men for being my idol, Billy Corgan for his ambition and drive, Gerard Way for conquering his demons, Gary Oldman for being downright superb and my whole family for putting up with me for 28 long years.
