Katherine - Yes I really am a wee irish leprachaun lol ;-)

About Me

I like being fun, spontaneous, & silly. I speak with my hands, use funny voices, and make faces when I am telling stories - it's an irish thing (and yes I actually am irish (from Couty Donegal, North West coast of Ireland - see my pics) and not a 'plastic paddy' - ask me what that means if you want to know) lol. I am down-to-earth with a fun sense of humour. I am passionate, sometimes hot-headed (the irish in me!!), creative, goofey, but also grounded (I am a born & bred farm-girl), sensitive, sweet-hearted & loving. I was born, & lived, in Ireland up until 6 years ago. Then lived & worked in USA, Australia and New Zealand before coming to Canada. I like Alberta but miss living near a coast as I love the ocean, be it wild as hell or calm.I love art, photography, music, travel, knowledge, and friends/family- these are my passions and loves. I love getting to know new people and getting to know the people I know and care for better and better. I like adventures be they the small ones we take each day or the big ones in life. Have swum with crocodiles, been on a traditional aboriginal kangaroo hunt, climb a glacier, but still don't know how to programme a video recorder lo !!! Love ice-cream and have been known to get over excited like a 6year old when confronted with a selection of more than 6 kinds of chocolate ice-cream lol I like to laugh alot and have a left-of centre sense of humour. I like living outside the box - sometimes a little, sometimes alot. I like getting out of the city and into Nature - was a girlguide (yes Ihad the uniform and earned badges) and can put up a tent and start a campfire. I like being playful and a kid at heart, still having a sense of wonder & curiousity. Mystery is the best thing in life - I don't ever want to feel like I know everything about the world, about myself. I think I a pool queen and a pinball wizard !!!!I just moved to Edmonton from Calgary (miss my friends there), and to take up the job as director of SNAP Gallery (Society of Northern Alberta Print Artists). Really enjoying it. If you are ever in Edmonton please come and see what exhibition we have on. They change every 6 weeks. SNAP offers gallery programming by print-artists of local, national and international reputation, a print shop facility for rent and public printmaking workshops. Come and visit SNAP :-) www.snapartists.comslainte Katherine

You are The Star

Hope, expectation, Bright promises.

The Star is one of the great cards of faith, dreams realised

The Star is a card that looks to the future. It does not predict any immediate or powerful change, but it does predict hope and healing. This card suggests clarity of vision, spiritual insight. And, most importantly, that unexpected help will be coming, with water to quench your thirst, with a guiding light to the future. They might say you're a dreamer, but you're not the only one.

What Tarot Card are You?
