I AM DONE!

About Me

I've been told I'm random, sarcastic, funny, quiet, silly, weird, and a plethora of other things.
I like to think I can't be pigeon-holed in a single category.
Friends, good food, sleeping, and my camera tend to make me happy. Oh yeah - and the occasional mojito.
"The time has come," the walrus said, "to speak of many things...of shoes and ships and sealing wax. of cabbages and kings. of why the sea is boiling hot and whether pigs have wings."
When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence. -Ansel Adams
Quote of the day:
"Money can't buy you happiness but it does bring you a more pleasant form of misery." -Spike Milligan
Secondary Quote of the day:
"You have pain. You have everything. What do you have? You have nothing. Everything is right, or everything is wrong. It's disappointing, it's confusing. This is life."
Tertiary Quote of the day:
"In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move"
- The Restaurant at the End of the Universe
Random Quote of the day:
"Thats what life is. It's a series of rooms. And who we get stuck with in those rooms add up to what our lives are" -House

My Interests

neither here nor there or anywhere.

Music:

I like music. There's probably a band I like for every single letter of the alphabet. If you were to look at my ipod - you'd see the most random collection of music ever. So there.

Movies:

High Fidelity, Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, The X-Files, The Godfather (Part I and II are the best), The Ring, White Oleander, The Last Unicorn, The Secret Garden, The Shawshank Redemption, Edward Scissorhands, Hackers, The Matrix, My Best Friends Wedding, The Nightmare before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Donnie Darko, Pi, The Sixth Sense, Devdas, A Tale of Two Sisters, Premonition, Hum Dil Chuke Sanam, V for Vendetta, Empire of the Sun, Mean Girls, The French Connection, One Missed Call

Television:

The X-Files, The West Wing, Invader Zim, The Oblongs, Family Guy, Ren & Stimpy, Scrubs, House, Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmerman, The Food Network (I like shows with normal and weird food)

Books:

I used to sleep with books instead of stuffed animals when I was little. A brief list: Ender's Game, The Joy Luck Club, anything by David Sedaris, Angels & Demons, most of Michael Crichton, Marley & Me, The Historian, The 48 laws of Power, all the Harry Potter books, and my collection of books on the paranormal and other such strange things.

My Blog

goings on

So it seems to be perhaps a general blog of sorts is in order. A typical "oh this is what I'm doing" blah blah blah sort of blog. It's so hard to keep in touch with folks and to keep the masses updat...

Not a rambling "per se" - more of a....what's the word....rumination? Maybe. Whatever. I find it harder and harder to get my friends to go out and do ANYTHING. Granted - we are no longer in our p...

I'm not actually blue. I'm a little annoyed but that's besides the point. I want blue hair. Well, I'd like blue chunks in my hair. I realize most of my friends will chastise me and remind me that I a...
