Hey Ya'll-- I'm down here hangin' out in Meridian, MS. Not much to do around these parts, but I manage to find trouble to get into. "Grits" would be the best word/words to describe who I am. No I'm not talking about the breakfast dish made from ground hominy...I'm talking about "Girls Raised In The South"! Yeah Yeah I know...the media always seems to find the most redneck country bumkin in overalls and no shirt to interview. Well, contrary to popular belief there are some of us with class. We grits are known for our irresistible charm, relaxed Southern drawl (which men absolutely adore), and the natural inclination to be hospitable and caring. Don't get me wrong, just because I can be hospitable and caring doesn't mean I can't be sassy every once in a while. If there's something you are dyin' to know just ask.I guess it's time to change my about me page to 'I'm down here hangin' out in Baton Rouge' since I am living down here now. Oh well. I'll just leave it for now.

My Interests

I enjoy doing just about anything...I draw the line if the activity has anything to do with jumping off an object higher than a chair. I've never understood why anyone would enjoy falling and hoping that a string or a parachute is going to keep them from finding out if there really is a heaven or hell. To each his own. I'm into beach volleyball, softball, window shopping, going to antique malls, working in the yard, going to the beach, going on road trips (as long as I am driving), crossword puzzles, lovin' on my animals (6 horses, 2 cats and 3 dogs)

I'd like to meet:

I'd liked to have met my grandfather (dad's father), Ronald Reagan, Shirley Temple, James Dean, DiVinci... Ok, now present day...George Bush, Billy Graham, Julia Roberts... I had to do the famous people thing...but I really am interested in running across old friends and making new ones.

Music:

Colby Caillat (which I discovered here on MySpace before she was famous)Fleetwood Mac, Dave Matthews Band, Etta James, Louis Armstrong, Oldies, late 80's early 90's, Techno...basically anything goes.

Movies:

All of Julia Robert's movies, The Gladiator, Ice Age, Wedding Crashers (my all time fav), Super Troopers, The Notebook, How To Lose A Guy in Ten Days, Sweet Home Alabama,

Television:

If I listed all of the television shows I like to watch it would appear as if I did nothing else besides watch tv. Heres a few. CSI Las Vegas, Big Shots, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, Discovery Health, A&E

Books:

Sweet Potato Queens Book of Love, A Walk to Remember, The Notebook, The Grits Guide to Life, Toyota Repair Manual (I liked to be informed about my car), Primal Leadership, Veterinary Economics,

Heroes:

A person that is willing to sacrifice everything, including his/her life, for people they've never met.
