About Me

Welcome to my page! Before you read my profile, I thought that I should say that it is a work in progress and I hope you realize that some of this is just my warped sense of humor. Please check back often, as I am always evolving. I am a 42 year old Native New Yorker, living in Sherman Oaks California. Life is too short to take yourself serious, that's why I'm a kook! I'm into music, art, fashion, earwax, and toenail clippings. Sometimes I like to be alone, but before long I begin talking to myself. Then, before you know it I'm arguing with myself in 5 different languages. Unfortunately, I don't speak any languages other than english, so I don't understand a word I'm saying! I love kittens but hate coconut, and if you stand too close to me on the subway, I'll punch you in the nose! Who Am I, Really? As a person driven by Intimacy, I seek deep, personal connections with people, especially my partner. That doesn't just mean that I want to understand everything about them. I wouldn't feel that my relationships were complete unless they understood me completely either. I gravitate towards people who can move beyond superficial conversation and are willing to understand every bit about what makes me who I am.It almost seems paradoxical, because while I do seek meaningful relationships in my life, and enjoy the company of others, I also enjoy my independence to do what I like to do. This is true because I spend so much time caring for others, connecting with them, and worrying about making things perfect, that I like to have my free time not to have to worry about those things.I want quality in all aspects of my life. I want to reveal my insecurities. I want to succeed in everything that I do. I want to give and receive unconditional love. I want to be free. I want to be smothered. I want to be comfortable in my skin. I want to give. I want to receive. I want you to be comfortable with my skin. I want more. I want to be me. My Interests

People, cleanliness, swimming, tennis, singing, reading, dancing, star gazing, macaroni and cheese, painting, drawing, designing, art in general, kissing, watching my beautiful daughter grow up and cleaning my ears (I'm addicted to Q-Tips, they relax me, really!).

I'd like to meet:

Fellow kooks and kookettes...Freaks, Friends and Fighting Ferrets. I have been fortunate to meet some very spectacular people in my life but I would love to meet Oprah Winfrey. What an amazing human being, if I could do only 1/8th of the good that she has done for humanity, I would die very content. I'd like to meet people who understand me (or at least try to)and that I can understand. (not as simple as you might think)

Music:

Most everything except folk, country and heavy metal, but I prefer....Reggae, R&B/Soul, Hip Hop, Jazz, some Rap and Classical.

Comedy, Romance, Action, Documentaries, Horror and suspense (although it's rare that I can't figure out what's going to happen next).

Television:

It speaks to me and hypnotizes me into doing naughty things. When I'm not talking to it, I'm watching The Discovery Channel, Dateline(To Catch a Pervert),The Dog Whisperer, Grey's Anatomy, Brother's & Sister's. It really depends on my mood, of which I have many.

Books:

I like to smell them. Really, I like autobiographies, Poetry, books on business, Self Help....you name it! I am actually contemplating writing one or a few myself.....really, no joke.

Heroes:

Mr. Rogers and Lawrence Welk. Ok, seriously....Single Mothers, (the late)Debra Powell,Nelson Mandela, Ghandi, Oprah, Martin Luther King and my daughter Tatiana (I couldn't begin to tell you why, but trust me).
