Root City is a funky blues band based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The band combines the well crafted music of Alex Rossi(Guitar-Vocals) with jumping high energy Funk and R&B covers. Other band member include: Heatbox (Beatboxing-Vocals), Cory Blanchard (Keys-Vocals), Patrick Nelson (Drums), Chris Larson (Bass-Vocals) and Max Felsheim (Saxophone). The group performs regularly at Gluek's in downtown Minneapolis, and weekly at venues all over the Twin Cities area.
