Oh dear, I guess I'm just a little careless! I'll confess, when the music's on, everything else gets

About Me

I am no longer working in the hellish sweatshop, but I still stay in touch with those friends. Now I work when and where I want to, Thank You Clinique!. I'm a bit of a skincare/makeup junkie/freak, and my family gets tired of hearing lectures about sunblock. But hey, I can't help it that I have little green C's running through my blood (to quote Holly). No matter what color dye you put it my hair, it WILL turn slightly reddish - it's my Irish heritage! I'm actually Southern but apparently talk like I'm from Chicago. I really distrust rabbits (Watership Down, don't ask). After this winter, I've started to wonder if I have seasonal affective disorder, because green grass has made me unbelievably happy. My neice is now the epitome of coolness, because she has light-up Care Bears shoes. I realized the other night that I know all the lyrics to the Fresh Prince of Bel Aire theme song, and I'm not really ashamed of this. I thought of something else about my quirky behavior to put up here, but due to my lack of a short term memory, I forgot it. I will probably stay up all night trying to think of it.

My Interests

MUSIC. Family, friends, theatre, dancing, ultimate frisbee, literature, all that jazz, sneaking on playgrounds at night to swing illegally

I'd like to meet:

My very own Greek god...No, but seriously...Ok, Idina Menzel, Hugh Jackman, Shirley Maclaine, Soren Kierkegaard, Jack Johnson, Heidi Guest, any of my ancestors, Ami James, Christian Bale, Oh, and of course the REAL Dr. McDreamy.

Music:

Whatever I can relate to or rock out to! P.S. No matter how old I get, certain groups will always be cool, such as: The Beach Boys, The Eagles, Jimmy Buffet

Movies:

Something to Talk About is a pretty great movie, and I've always loved it. Plus it illustrates my Southern and equestrian backgrounds, and dream house.

Television:

Honestly, George and Weezy are pretty much the shit, and I don't know what else can measure up to that.

Books:

The Bible, Les Miserables, Le Petit Prince, L'Etranger, The Myth of Sisyphus, Lysistrata, Wuthering Heights, Crime and Punishment, Jon Stewart's first book, The Painted Veil

Heroes:

My grandmother, without any doubt in my mind.
