hello. my name is ponytail. at the moment i am the sole member of Where's My Hands?, a rock and roll explosion. the recordings you hear on this page are not actual /rock/explosion songs, they are the songs that i recorded back when i had hands, back when i could still clap, back in kansas.......................................Kansas you ask? How did you wind up in tennessee? where are your hands?Yes. I grew up in small town kansas raising chickens with my mother and father. some local farmer's kids started a band called the pondmonkeys and called me to join with. throughout our adolescent years we tore up the southeastern corner of kansas, leaving charred wheat fields in our wake (i really don't think that i've ever even seen a wheat field in ks, at least not where i lived) and as we grew older and better so did our shows. me and the boys ventured out even more, frequenting multiple missouri towns to terrorize and pillage, and even chased some indians down as far as tulsa oklahoma. by early summer 2005 it seemed that we had outgrown our playpen and seeing that local authorities from all surrounding counties wanted us hanged, we knew it was time to go our separate ways. the songs you hear today are the last known recordings of the now defunct pondmonkeys. the outlaw brothers alex and austin ward regrouped and decided that they were not ones to be held down by law. they joined forces with an up and budding local gang that went by the name of aop to make a new band called "the noise", and bassist Derek wright was last seen making his way down to old mexico.feeling restless and knowing that i couldn't stick around for fear of the gallows, i skilled myself in the ways of the clipper and comb and decided to ride east to nashvegas. it seems though that since i've arrived i've lost my great hands that helped me build everything and i need a new set. i'll work undercover as a barber. i'll pay my bills on time. i'll find my hands again...................stay gold pony boy.
