Having Fun!!!! Really that's what's it all about. Volleyball!! Basketball!! Even trips to the beach! (Don't worry ... that old european guy with the speedos ... that's NOT me :-D )Love concerts. Karaoke! (but I can't sing worth ANYTHING!!) Oh, and I LOVE to play music. The accordian is my specialty. Then, drums. Then, guitar. Then keyboard. Hmmmmm... kazoo?? Yeah, I suppose.
...the inventor of the toilet seat. I need to thank him personally!! But other than that, I'd like to meet those that enjoy life, and are kind to their fellow men (or women, or etc...).
Some faves: Panic! at the Disco!!! Brathanki, Kapela, Audioslave, Dropsixx, Metallica, Hoobastank, No Doubt (their earlier stuff), Avenged Sevenfold, System of a Down, MegaDeth (their middle stuff), Garth Brooks, Jerry Reed, Those Darn Accordians, Weird Al, Gun's and Roses (appetite...), Simon and Garfunkel, Madonna (80's), and Smashing Pumpkins, among others.
My all-time favorites: Sabrina (the original, with Audrey Hepburn), The Princess Bride (the GREATEST sword fight in any movie), just about any Hitchcock film, though Rope is my most favorite, The Bourne Identity, Snatch, The Shawshank Redemption, Leon: The Professional, Back to the Future series, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Gladiator. Oh, and can't forget Groundhog Day!! The latest movie I've liked: NASCAR: The IMAX Experience 3-D
Buffy! Firefly (Serenity)! Macguyver! BattleStar Gallactica! CSI!! (And NOT the Miami one). Xtreme Elimination! Good Eats!! (Love that show!! -- One of these days I'll actually cook something from the show. Nothing like some chemistry with your cookin'.) They're my favorites. (And I will even admit to watching the second season of Project Runway. Go Santino!!)
In high school read Stephen King books religiously, and then some sporadic books since. Stephen Hawking's Universe in a Nutshell, Dan Brown's Angels and Demons, and The DaVinci Code were the latest books I've read that I couldn't keep down. (Have several books with about 5 pages read each... Maybe, one of these days... I'll finish 'em.)
Goes without saying... my father!!! The most impossible man to live up to. One to aspire to. Proud of his family, his accomplishments, and his life. The most successful man in the world. A loving father, an endearing Catholic, a risk-taking son. May my memories never fade of his legacy, our past, and his dreams!! "When I came to America, all I had with me was $5 and a bushel of apples..." He influenced the world in more ways than anyone can think of. And he accomplished the impossible!!
