About Me
DEUTSCHE & ALBANER
Even just the name of these Stuttgart-based girls shows what they're about: An explosive mixture that everyone should count themselves lucky to see behind the decks.
Daniela, the German side of the duo, has been playing records for more than ten years in Stuttgart's hottest clubs - the home base of DEUTSCHE & ALBANER. And speaking of her artistic background, she not only comes from the musical side, but also has a degree in fine arts. Daniela has been, and still is, very successful in international art exhibitions.
Linda, representing the Albanian part of the team, quickly established herself in the nightlife scene of Stuttgart after she came from her country to Germany in 1993. Today she works for one of the most important event and artist management agencies in Germany - 0711 entertainment where she leads the organisation of venues.
It was only a question of time until these impulsive and passionate girls met and founded the DEUTSCHE & ALBANER DJ team. In a short time they worked their way up to success as a much-in-demand DJ team, but it was when they started to work with Martin Eyerer - a very successful producer that the whole thing totally blew up. The first remix for "Eyerer & Chopstick - get alive", which they released on Great Stuff Records, received massive support by DJ's like Coburn, The Hacker, Tom Pooks and Tomcraft. On top of that, the second production, a remix for "Eyerer & Namito - keep this pace", which came out in Australia and UK on Ministry Of Sound and in Germany on the high-profile label Multicolor, received phenomenal feedback at various radio stations.
ALLEBANIA Vol. 1, their first Mix Compilation, is on its way to be released beginning of April 06 on WAX`N´Soul Records. With their live mix and selection of titles like The Blast / Zen- Kai, Luna /Romboy & Bodzin , Electric / Eyerer & Chopstick and many more, they present an explosive set of funky and electronic tunes. The highlight on ALLEBANIA Vol. 1 is DEUTSCHE & ALBANER s debut single m.. fat. This beautiful melodic track will definitely get the attention of any funk, trance and electronic music lover. m.. fat, including remixes by DJ Friction and Joachim Spieth (Kompakt Artist), will be available on Bond Records at end of april 06.
Its time for the next tour! Check out the dates - DEUTSCHE & ALBANER will rock you, too.
