In a dark alley, the piece of shit that killed my Uncle.
I run the gambit as far as music is concerned. Godsmack (never missed a concert), Alice in Chains, Kid Rock (never missed a concert), Tool, Three Days Grace, Seether, Sevendust, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Nickelback, Eric B. and Rakim, Beastie Boys, Motley Crue, Blink 182, Run DMC, Blue October, Dashboard Confessional, Coldplay, Rob Zombie, Van Halen, anything acoustic I can play, and the theme from "Cops". Just found out my partner has another talent other than keeping me out of trouble, check out Aces' page.
"Training Day", need more be said?
The Office (one of the few things my sister was right about), 30 Rock (once again, thanks sis and that is the last time I will ever thank you for anything), The First 48 (DPD's sleuths are sooo professional with their 'Grim reaper' jackets), anything on Discovery, The History Channel or the Military Channel (my sister has that one blocked out, what a lib), and last but not least, Cops, of course.
"To Kill a Mocking Bird" is the shit. Louis Lamour, Mark Twain, Tom Clancy, and George Orwell are all great in my book (no pun intended). I love true-crime and military history (Anything by Colonel David H. Hackworth are 'must reads' for all, even for those Obama supporters who hate your Government). Learning about how you can go to the grocery store without being car-bombed or how you got the right to bitch about Bush, is awesome. Oh, and anything written by my future wife, Ann Coulter.Currently reading "Lone Survivor" by Marcus Luttrell. The moving story of Fire Team Leader Luttrell and the desperate battle in the mountains of Afghanistan that led, ultimately, to the largest loss of life in Navy SEAL history.
God. My parents (How they put up with me I'll never know, they should write a book). Our Armed Forces who are fighting and dying for us, while we sit in our cozy houses and bitch about it. And as Lt. Spiers once said, "We're all scared. You hid in that ditch because you think there's still hope. But Blithe, the only hope you have is to accept the fact that you're already dead. And the sooner you accept that, the sooner you'll be able to function as a soldier is supposed to function. Without mercy. Without compassion. Without remorse. All war depends on it." Thank you to all who are serving; civilian and military, at home and overseas. God bless you.
