THE BRETHREN

Slap happy Funky Jazz Rock Fusion

About Me

The Brethren are a variety of things...funk rock band...jazz/fusion ensamble...hard improvisational rock..but there is one thing they aren’t...complacent. The Brethren was formed in August 2004 under the belief that the local scene needed a shot of good natured, progressive energy, fused with the jam band asthetic of groups gone by. The Brethren is comprised of Guitarist/Keyboardist/Singer Ron "Dark" Lauback, whose been entertaining CNY crowd since the mid 90’s. Paul Puzzullo is the bands bassist and resident low end merchant, profficient in funky slap style bass and acoustic stand up technique. The Brethren’s rhythmic end is comprised of the irrespressible Bobby Evans, one CNY’s most dynamic drummers! The Brethren have been working steadily since their formation, and are putting the finishing touches on their debut CD.
All songs written by Evans/Lauback/Puzzullo and are (C) 2005 Brethren Publishing/3-Music This profile was made at www.wonderbackgrounds.com
