Having played in several (indie, punk, industrial, noise, electronic) bands and projects for years, we decided to start a new rockband. After a period of trying out, we finally founded the THE ORPHANED in fall 2005. Being influenced by a lot of different kinds of music, we wanted to create our own special sound, and found out that it had to be rocking and mostly with a dark atmosphere/attitude.
