The Downfall

The Downfall was born in late 2004. Several practices ensued, and in june of 2005 we played our first gig. The line up at this stage was David Larney on guitar and vocals, Daniel Scum on bass, and Wee Shane on drums. We played two more gigs with David. But then on the 28/8/05 he was knocked down and killed. (RIP)We knew we had to keep the band goin, even without the main man. We rerecruited Paul Mc Glynn, who was in the band for a short while, and even sang a few songs with us at our 2nd gig. The enthuasiasm was lower, and it took a lot of effort, but eventually, we got back gigging again.We've gotten a good few gigs off Winnie. And through them we've gotten a good few more. In the past we've played with The Gurriers, The Lobotomies, Rumble, The Torture House Effect, The_spacebetween and many more. We're on a bit of a hiatus at the moment, as we're trying to become a four piece. So we won't be gigging till the summer most likely (unfortunately!!).
