Ripe but not bruised

About Me

Where to begin... music is my passion. I can find something moving in almost every style.... with th exception of scat jazz and heavy metal. Something about the irregular beat that disturbs me. "....gimme the beat, boy, to soothe my soul, I wanna get lost in your rock n roll and drift away ...." I'm an upbeat person for the most part, enjoy observing the mating dance, am a classic fence sitter, can ALWAYS see points on both sides, I enjoy reading, watching and writing erotica. I also enjoy reading period romance and suspense novels. On the personal side, I have been married since 1988 and am a mother of teen aged boys. I am a hockey mom, hey, I'm canadian, eh!

My Interests

I enjoy quiet times and noisy times... laughing till it hurts. I love the sunshine and water .. erotica, flirting, family, fun friends and of course good music.

I'd like to meet:

people who enjoy intelligent "stimulating" conversations... men and women that can say more then ... "hey you got a cam, show me your tits"...lol

Movies:

I am soooo behind on the movie scene... I enjoy action/thrillers when there is a plausible plotline, comedys that are not too silly, chick flicks that are not sappy. My favourites include "Deathtrap", with Michael Caine and Christopher Reeves, "Miracle Worker", with Anne Bancroft, "Twelve Angry Men", the original, "Nuts" with Barbra Striesand, "Color Purple", with Whoopi, "Barefoot In the Park", "Matrix", "Harry Potter" series, "Pat and Mike" with Spenser/Hepburn, "Heat" with Al Pacino and Robert Niro, "Godfather II"

Television:

I don't watch alot of t.v. would rather read or be on line. I do tend to follow the "Idol" shows and enjoy watching "Medium", "Desperate Housewives", "Most Haunted" and "Dr Phil"

Books:

I enjoy John Grishams and Steve Martinis courtroom dramas, James Patterson's Alex Cross, Robert B Parker's Spencer series. J. D. Robb's Death in ... series, romance and passion by Nora Roberts, Jayne Ann Krentz, period romance by Amanda Castle, Julia Quinn and Jane Feather.

Heroes:

My grandmothers.... Terry Fox .... John Lennon .... our law enforcement and military ..... midnight shift hospital workers and my parents

r and r time

It was a great crowd tonight. The kind of gig Monique thrived on. She felt a kind of high when the crowd pleaded for more, long after the bar had stopped serving. Once a year Monique sang in the loun...
