I listen to everything, seriously. Some of my favorites are Billy Pilgrim, Sugarland, Dave Matthews, Blue October, R.E.M., U2, CSNY, The Cure, Miles Davis, Jazz, Blues, Classical, Bluegrass, 80's, OAR, Tom Petty, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Indigo Girls, Beethoven, Mozart, Wagner, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Clarence Carter, The Platters, Stevie Ray Vaughn, BB King, Johnny Cash....the list could go on and on forever. I always have some song stuck in my head, and it is very common for me to break out in some spontaneous dance to whatever I am singing at the time.
My movie interests are as wide as my music. I love gangster movies (the Godfather, Goodfellas, Casino...), Pulp Fiction (My friend Jonathan and I can have an entire conversation using just lines from Pulp Fiction. It is a gift, a strange one but a gift just the same), Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (Savannah is really like that), Harry Potter, Biblical Epics (Charleston Heston was a babe), Kevin Smith (Yes, it is stoner humor, but it cracks me up), Gone With The Wind (A must for every good Southern Girl), Steele Magnolias (Another required view for Southern Girls),...and so on and so forth....
The Sopranos (I hated the way it ended, it made me crazy), Grey's Anatomy (We are still looking for McDreamy at work), The Deadliest Catch (The show is addictive, it is like crack), MASH reruns, The Simpsons, Law and Order SVU, ER....
I worked at Books-A-Million when I was in nursing school. The best thing about it was that I could check books out and bring them back when I was finished. Patricia Cornwell, Harry Potter, and Stephen King are a few of my favorites.
