Mrs. Victoria Morrissey

I have to ask a question to the gods above. How were we deemed worthy of this perfect love?

My name is Victoria, Vicki for short. I was born and raised in the Bronx, NY, the greatest place in all the world. I attended St. Francis De Chantal for elementary school, a place that I still whole-heartedly despise. From there, I attended Preston High School, which will forever be like a second home to me. Finally, it was on to Iona College, where I completed my Honor's Degree in Mass Communication in December 2003 - a semester earlier than I was supposed to. Of all the dorms there, Rice Hall rocks the hardest!
In April of 2005, I met my wonderful Christopher on the Yahoo! Personals. Chris was still in Virginia finishing his bacholer's degree, so it was not until May 28th (once he returned home to NY), that we went on our first date. (Rino's is "our" restaurant). Six and a half months later, on December 8th, we went to see Peter Pan in Madison Square Garden, and then returned to his house to hang out. That was when he asked me to marry him, to which I gladly said yes. On Saturday July 28, 2007, I became Mrs. Victoria Lynn Morrissey. It was the best day of my entire life!!!
Anyway, I'm just your average girl who loves writing and filmmaking. I'm currently working on a series of orginial fantasy books that I hope to one day get published. As far as films go, I have equal respect for The Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Evil Dead trilogy. Actually, it was The Evil Dead movies that made me want to go into film in the first place.
I also love Broadway and have seen numerous shows in the last few years. My favorite Broadway show is Wicked, but I also love The Lion King, The Phantom Of The Opera, and Avenue Q, to name just a few. But the best show I have ever seen and my ultimate die-hard favorite was Evil Dead: The Musical. There's nothing like sitting in the front row and getting covered in Deadite blood. (See my pictures for this.)
Have I mentioned that I've got the greatest husband in the world?

I'd like to meet:

Since I've already met my soulmate, I'll go with Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg (I've already met filmmaker hero Sam Raimi).

Music:

I mostly listen to soundtracks from tv and movies. I sorta just go for the instrumentals and I like Broadway soundtracks too.

Movies:

Create yours at BlingyBlob.com!

Television:

Xena, Hercules, Jack of All Trades, Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Lost and Heroes.

Books:

The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, Where The Red Fern Grows, Jurassic Park, Timeline (ok so almost anything by Michael Crichton), The Necronomicon Ex Mortis - roughly translated as "The Book of the Dead" - bound in human flesh and inked with human blood...ok, ok, I'm kidding on the Necronomicon!

Heroes:

Sam Raimi, Peter Jackson, Steven Spielberg are the best three directors of modern times. I blame/thank (in a good way, believe me!!) Sam Raimi and his movies for giving me the desire to be a director. Bruce Campbell happens to be the one of the greatest actors I have ever had the pleasure of watching (and meeting). J.R.R. Tolkien and Michael Crichton are both amazing writers, though if I had to pick only one, I'd go with Tolkien - his fantasy stories are my inspiration. My mom and grandma are both such amazing and strong women. Christopher is the love of my life and I am so happy that I get to spend the rest of my life with him.
