Well known for their production, Crispy and Mischief now known as The Reservoir Dogz, started making music years ago. Mischief’s ability to create music came naturally. The basis of his musical experience stemmed from motivation to be self-taught in several instruments including the drums, guitar and keyboard, at a very early age. With this determination, Mischief gained vast experience through his work.
His “ear for music†has allowed him to contribute to The Reservoir Dogz and maintain and propel his status as a musician/producer.
Theyve now gained a respectable credibility among the urban community in Toronto. By starting out strictly making beats for artists around their neighborhood they learned the technical and creative aspects of making music. After 2 years they started working at Playtime Music, a small independent label where they ran the recording studio. Creating beats and working with different artists ultimately lead to producing and engineering a full length LP for local hip-hop group Straight Goods. The album named The Clinic went on to sell 2,000 copies respectively. Crispy attended the Toronto Film School for sound engineering where he graduated in 2004. While at the school the duo produced tracks and worked with various artists including: Rich London, Bunz, J-Sauce and DJ Rock the House. From there Crispy went on to an internship at Platinum Hill Records where he worked as assistant engineer to world class engineer Joe Warlick, who is best known for his work with Dr. Dre and The Game. With years of experience playing various instruments and an impressive catalogue of original beats, theyve spawned a versatile style.
The Reservoir Dogz are now looking to leave their mark on the industry.Contact:
