Definitely the O.P.O.P's. I am a sucker for nostalgia. Where did everybody go? Or rather, end up? Also, are any O.P.O.T.'s out there? Anyone remember Ca Chapel? Planet 10? Club 506? J-Dog? McNeece? Patriok? G Bark? Ya'll out there? It's Crystal. Crystal Moth, remember me???
I threw myself onto the mean streets of New York City to feel the hallowed ground of my high priestess of rock. Patti Smith. CBGB OMFUG. Hilly Crystal loved my band and I was a rock star in my own mind. Kate Bush spins mystery like no other. Now she's back. I missed her so, but it seems we were walking a parallel path all along, all the way to the sea of honey. What else died with Sandy Denny. I am lost in her melodious rapture. Fading echo, see you on the ledge? Joni, Joni, Joni. I have a blue tattoo that reminds me of you. Quintessential cali girl, artist thrice over, still searching. Waiting for Grace to come out of hiding. She won't. And those are just the ladies. The ones that made me most. The first two albums I ever bought were the Clash/Combat Rock and the Stray Cats/Built for Speed. I was ten years old. Well things just started to unravel from there. The 'Cats introduced me to Eddie. Eddie!Eddie!Eddie! Summertime Blues and Somethin' Else ruled my stereo. The first time I went to the Mix I heard NME Saints play C'mon Everybody and I thought, I love these boys, they know Eddie. Well Eddie surreptitiously led me to the Sex Pistols, which led to my undying love for the Cramps, thank you Sound Box. I owe the Stray Cats a lot because in addition to turning me on to rockabilly, they also led me to the import section of the record store. Yes, that's what they were called back then. Once I found out that 'Speed was just a U.S. compilation of 2 previous U.K. releases, well that was the end. Or should I say the beginning. of my discovery of Other Music.
gee, its been a while. last one i saw was merchant of venice. i think that was in 2004...
Art is life. Theatre is art. Television is furniture. Except for the band.
