Self doubting pessimist. I play in a band to boost my ego, and to try and get the girl in the end. My life is a lot like a John Cusack film, except for a lot less rain involved, and there is no way in hell that I would hold a ghetto blaster over my head for the entire duration of a Peter Gabriel song, let alone play a Peter Gabriel song for a girl. If I gave her my heart, and she gave me a pen, I wouldn't dwell on it, I would probably write a hate song about her with said pen. That's how I roll.
I travel a whole lot. I have friends all over the globe, and I'm slowly trying to visit them all, but I wind up visiting some more than others. For those of you who I am talking about, don't worry, I'll get to you.
I am an audiophile. I collect all sorts of music, and I am one of the handful of people that I know that can say "I listen to everything", and fully mean it. I should have bought stock in indie record stores years ago. That's how nerdy I am about it. If I were asked if I wanted my soulmate, or the greatest record collection of all time, I would pick the records. I can pleasure myself.
My life isn't all that bad. I have a nice house with a "Boom Boom" room (for all you Cribs watchers). I have a job and band that I love more than anything, and the best friends that money can buy. What do you have?
I play in a local band called The PirkQlaters. We've been around for 8 years (Jesus!), and keep on trucking. We tour a lot, and I have had the greatest moments, and have met some of the greatest musicians, that I have ever had in my life. Line up changes happen, I'm aware of this, but we have a drum tech in jail, and a sweet, ska lovin guitar tech that's goofy with a Physics degree. Beat that. Your tour buddies have nothing on Caz Partslig.
I would love to meet anybody. I'm pretty blunt, and overweight. Whatever. I like to work a lot, and I play even harder when the time is right. Write me if you give a shit. Whatever.
