Deep Chemistry is an up and coming three piece, genre-defying band hailing from Orange County, NY. With a unique style that blends rock, funk, r & b, improvisation and anything else that crosses their musical path, Deep Chemistry's sound is unmistakably their own.
Their two self produced demo's Evolving the Groove (Feb 2004) and Visible Frequencies (May 2004) both showcase the band's creativity and versatility. Although they have only been playing together as a band since late fall of 2003, Deep Chemistry has performed in some renowned venues, such as The Continental (NYC), The Chance Theater (Poughkeepsie, NY), The Lion's Den (NYC), Kenny's Castaway's (NYC), Higher Ground (VT) as well as numerous other venues in the NYC and North East. Other notable performances include headlining and co-organizing the "Feed 'Em With Music Festival", a fund raiser for the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley. Deep Chemistry has also opened for & shared the stage with such acts as: Jimmie's Chicken Shack; Lynch; U-Melt; Tea Leaf Green & Guy Malone to name a few. Regardless of the size of the audience, Deep Chemistry never fails to ignite the stage with their intense musical energy. Within Deep Chemistry's first year of playing out, the band had already procured a local fan base that has continued to expand with each gig. No one leaves a Deep Chemistry show without feeling the reaction. With a shared goal of creating music and lyrics that are uplifting, powerful, and honest, Deep Chemistry has an air of maturity and sophistication not usually found in most young rock bands. Deep Chemistry is ready and willing to share their music with an even wider audience through any means that doesn't compromise their goals and values. Deep Chemistry is a musical oasis in the desert of bland, commercial pop music that is inundating today's airwaves.
