About Me

Freelance PHP/MySQL Programmer and Internet Programming Consultant

http://www.lewislacook.org
http://www.abstractoutlooks.com

I believe in modularity and Object-orientation--but always keep in mind that the more abstraction you introduce, the more energy required to process it. Therefore, use OOP when approriate; the right tools for the right job.

I'm fascinated by communication, whether it be among machines or human beings...I see technology as no less natural than the human race...I believe the only defense we humans have in this cold, crazy world is culture...but I also want to find that original face, the one we all had before culture...I am Appollo and Dionysus at once...the luxury of pure architecture...

My Interests

Web programming, philosophy, contemporary poetry and poets, mythology, art, history. cultural theory, ghost stories, the paranormal, crime, physics, scizophrenia, coping mechanisms, cats, empty fields, desolate urban landscapes, progressive politics
