Holy crap this year is just flying by. I mean if you really look at things, summer is almost over.
Well, still at St Joseph County 911. I should like my job, but I dont. I am more of a field guy and I would rather be out in the thick of things than in a room where all hell can break loose at any given moment. So, I still don't like my job, but I do respect it and what we do. Not to mention it doesn't pay half bad and I only work like 14 days a month. I know, your thinking...Shut the hell up Shook, and I should. I still would trade jobs even for a different pay grade. I don't know anymore if I am gunna be able to make it to Las Vegas in the fall. I don't know if I will have the money or the time, or if I will even still be working for St Joseph County.
Many changes ahead in the life of Shook, but what can I say. It's time to "shit or get off the pot" as some people say. I have wanted to be a Police Officer since I was about 4 years old. I will complete this goal. If I have to make an enlisted career in the military or work for the deepest darkest cities in the country I will complete this goal and do my part to protect and serve people in need.I have remodeled my bathroom at the farm, still doesn't make to much sense to me since I am not really living there. Thats ok though, doing my part to keep farm land and the ol' house in the family. My waverunner is almost paid off and I am trying to make a hard decision. Get rid of it, buy another one; sell it and buy 2 4 wheelers; sell it and make a down payment on a badass boat. I dont know what I am doin yet.
