Hello all, and Happy New Year! (Written 1/2/08). My name is Victoria, but I usually go by Vic or Vicky. As of 1/30/08, I will be 25; being a young woman in her 20's is truly an awesome thing.Regarding my Myspace account, I attempted to delete my account last summer because I was no longer interested in using MySpace. However, many of my friends on here would contact me in other ways to let me know that they were getting spam emails from ME between August and December of last year, AFTER I had supposedly deleted my account, and I had not used Myspace AT ALL between late August and December of last year. In short, I think that someone somehow committed identify theft by signing on as me and sending out spam emails to people on my Friends list, so to anyone whose been receiving emails from me in the last five months (8/07-12/07) containing spam and/or ads, they weren't from me, but someone who apparently hacked into my account!Anyhow, after discovering this, I decided during Christmas break that I would like to use Myspace again, because, embarrassingly enough, I kind of missed it a little. So here it is, I'm back as a Myspace user.Since 8/07, I've experienced a lot of major life transitions: I've gotten a new job, a new car, and my own place. Since this time, I have found my life to be much more enjoyable, simply because I have allowed myself to view life in more positive ways. I no longer take people for granted like I used to, I don't take things as personally as I used to, I have learned to relax and laugh a lot more, and I am now a "solutions person" instead of a whiner or complainer. I work out more, I am increasingly eating healthier (at least some days, lol), I make more time for family and friends, ESPECIALLY for my immediate family, because friends come and go, but family - at least my family - is always there for me, no matter what happens.Before the end of '08, I'm determined to accomplish a lot, because I already AM, and I will BE, great in '08, as my Myspace slogan states. I plan to publish at least one children's book this year, and I'm contemplating starting my own commercial website. I'd like to get trained and certified in another area of expertise, because although I love being a teacher, I have other personal and professional interests as well, and I don't want to pigeon-hole myself by working just one kind of job the rest of my life. One's life should include variety, surprises, and discoveries.With all this said, I am already having a good year, and whatever things I did not accomplish last year, I am determined to see 99.9% come true this year. I've already buckled up for the ride, 'cuz 2008 is MY YEAR!!!!!
