System Overload Intl

System Overload Intl. is one of the hottest new sound systems out of Brooklyn, New York. With their unique and versatile style of play, they have managed to take Brooklyn by storm. System Overload Intl is comprised of 6 members, and was formed in 2005, by founding member Mr. Menace. For as long as he can remember, Mr. Menace has always been interested in providing entertainment for his friends, family and peers.

Menace’s influences while he was honing his craft were his cousin Shawn aka DJ Big Tunes, the first one to get him into playing music, his uncles DJ Birdy, DJ GQ and DJ Victorious Vic. Sound systems like Jugglers Intl, Xcaliber Disco, Associate Degree, Matsimilia, Sel Construction & Remington Steele have also played an important role with him getting into music. "When I started to take this music thing serious these were the guys that I looked up to" states crew member Mr. Menace "I liked the fact that they took Dee Jaying serious and they had a passion for it". With the help of his cousins, they embarked on their journey. Mr. Menace dreams of creating a sound system became a reality, when System Overload Intl was born.

Since their inception, System Overload Intl has managed to play at several successful events. Fine tuning their skills every opportunity they get, System Overload Intl is a fairly new sound system and they have gained the respect of both their peers and older DJs. This respect is due to their musical intelligence, their ability to read a crowd and their flexible style of playing music which they pride themselves on.

It was not until the end of 2005 that their fan base would expand on the Brooklyn entertainment map. After a year of having their eyes on the prize, not to mention playing at mind blowing events; the benefits of their hard work had begun to increase and the dream became real. The sky seems to be the limit for System Overload Intl. and it can only get better from here.

Today System Overload Intl now consist of 6 members (Mr.Menace (Selector/MC), Mr.Ease (Selector), Da Scientist (Road Manager & Music Director), Drinkz(Chief Financial Officer), Neptune (Promotions), Stepdaddy (Legal Advisors) and all playing various roles in the movement. With the addition of MyAnus, Mischief, and Road Block (collective known as Stay Focus Crew) to the movement there is no stopping System Overload Intl, their sights are now set on conquering the entertainment world.
