About Me

JOE CERVELIN won a monster drawing contest in first grade. He's lived in the shadow of this early success for two decades. His work has appeared in Fourteen Hills, More Bridges: The 2007 SFWC Anthology, Sarah Lawrence Review, Switchback, and elsewhere. “The Beach as Office,” forthcoming from Bay Nature magazine next month, won Best Writing Award at the 2007 San Francisco Writers Conference. As an emerging author and multimedia collaborator, Joe has served as a guest panelist/reader for SFSU's Writers on Writing series and provided textual interpretations for visual artists for LA-based galleries. Joe also performs hip hop music as the Backwards Ninja (aka the Gentrified ODB), one half of Microphone Hippie. Perhaps you have an offer Joe cannot refuse. MIDNIGHTPUDDING.COM
