About Me

The Distorting Glass is the project of 19 year-old Pablo Bellinghausen. He has made music for a long time, discovering how to record it at the same time. And now it's time to condense every thing learned into one big chunk of good ambitious music. The deadline for the work: 2007. The project is still in it's early stages, but the recording process is in full motion. Here are some instrumental recordings that show just a glimpse of what is to come.

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: The Distorting Jack: Pablo Bellinghausen
Influences: Music that expands the boundaries of the conceived notions of what art can do.For search purposes: Smashing Pumpkins, A Perfect Circle, King Crimson Nine Inch Nails, The Cure, Porcupine Tree, Tool, Cursive, Peter Gabriel, The Mars Volta, Marilyn Manson, Pink Floyd, Arcade Fire, Blackfield, Paper Chase, Frank Zappa, Brian Eno, Jean Michel Jarre, Dead Can Dance, Massive Attack, Coheed And Cambria, Yes, The Dresden Dolls.
Sounds Like: An approximate description of how the music is sounding this far would be to throw The Cure and Robert Fripp in a musical blender, with smart lyrics and a special care for the sonic production. Current myspace songs are old; the good part is yet to come.
