About Me

Where do I begin... I'm a very simple and laid back person (or at least I'd like to think I am). I keep to myself for the most part and don't have too many friends (especially ones that live in my city) so I am really thankful for the few people in my life that are true friends of mine.
I LOVE God and know that without Him I would not be here today. Most people wouldn't even believe the things I've been through in life but I know that it is only because of God that I am still here.
I am a minister in my church. I have been preaching for three years as of 9/11. It sounds like a lot but I have time especially because I don't work a regular job. I honestly love serving God and being free to do it.
I am a student at the University of Arizona where I am completing a Sociology major along with a Religious Studies minor. I am rapidly becomming tired of school but keep pressing so I can finish and get my degree.
I can't wait to complete this part of my life and move further into my destiny. Altough I am not sure what all awaits me I am confident in the fact that it is awesome and that in it is everything I can possibly want in my life.

My Interests

I enjoy traveling. I have been to South Africa, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Alaska, Florida, California and a bunch of other states. I am lookin forward to traveling to India, Kenya, The Bahamas, Barbados and other places in the states that I have yet to see.

In addition to traveling I like to bowl, color (it's relaxing), go to movies, and spend time with family and friends

I'd like to meet:

People that love God and people that need to know how much God loves them

Music:

I really enjoy listening to music. There is almost always a song playing or in my head. A few music artist that I'm really feelin right now are: Isreal and the New Breed, Richie Righteous (New Album Coming), The Rep (New Album Coming), The Messenger (Album Out Now), Tye Tribbett, Toby Mac, Kari Jobe, Jonathan Stockstill, HillSong and Rock Nation.

Movies:

I enjoy movies and like all types of 'em except for demonic ones. I probably go to the movies or rent movies at least three times a month (I used to go once a week and rent movies daily). Recently I've seen Tyler Perry's the Family That Preys.

Television:

I watch less and less television these days (I guess that's a good thing). When I get the chance I like to watch shows like Numbers and The Unit. Law & Order and CSI are usually pretty good when I catch them.

I can't forget about the classics... I love watching Fresh Prince, Cosby Show, Living Single, A Different World and Family Matters. No matter how many times you watch them they are still funny.

Books:

Right now I don't read too much because I have to read a lot for school but God is getting me back into reading and most of it is so I learn more about Him.
I recently read a novel by Bishop TD Jakes called Calendar Girls. Man was it good. I read the whole book in one day; I couldn't put it down. I am also reading a series of books on the Holy Spirit and the various roles he has in a believers life.
Last but not least in any way I love to get into the Bible. There is so much in there and when I really get into it I can get lost in the pages as the Holy Spirit teaches me. There is nothing like it.

Heroes:

JESUS CHRIST is definitely my first hero and if I could only have one it would be Him. My parents for showing me how to push past every obstacle and move forward in what God has for me. My brother and true friends for showing me how to be in love with God and still enjoy life.
