How can all this fit into one life?

About Me

I am a writer, musician and artist living in Victoria, BC, Canada. There's little I do that isn't art-related. I like cats and cycling. I'm a dead-eye shot with a bow and arrow, or anyways I was for a really long time. I like pointy things. I'm interested in the culture of objects and how they communicate. I'm still a little unsure what's going to happen when I die. I'm still a little unsure of how I'm going to support myself, being a flaming idealist. Perhaps some sort of electric hat. My official web page,
http://davidbowie.com/users/puritycontrol
is where the real dirt is on myself. This is really just a placeholder. Go to my homepage instead.

My Interests

I am interested in the Big Change, the Third Wave. Escaping polarity. Escaping the cycle of decay and renewal. The Great Big Aesthetic. Cheating Fortune. Freeing people from the invisible traintracks and conduits which confine them to lives of repetitive and famishing misery. Outer space. Inner space. Sacred places, things and gestures. Layman physics, biology, chemistry, astronomy, astrology. Systematized symbolic ballistics (archery). Classical music, meaning all music. Pop's agenda. Having no agenda myself. Emptying myself completely. Embracing perfect peace.

I'd like to meet:

Living? OK, living. Bowie, Malinsky, Kundera, Lucaks. Durgin. MF who's written hours and hours of music, I'm told? Neato. Terje from Norway. MzRed. David Suzuki? Dammit, Carl Sagan's dead. James Burke maybe. Arthur C. Clarke, fer sher. Already met Miles Lowry, super fellow. Same goes for David Ferguson. Who else? Henry Rollins. I've got Stephen Fearing's autograph, but I wouldn't say no to a chinwag too. Tricky. The dudes and girl from Hinterland. Soundgarden people. Radiohead. David Byrne, we'd probably just make odd hieroglyphic gestures at each other for half an hour and empty the coffee shop. NEIL YOUNG OMFG NEIL YOUNG. Timothy Findley, for my own interest and to ask him what the hell he wrote in my friend's book at the signing? We never deciphered it.
