Spi Hunter is a band that currently only exist in the pages of the up coming comic "The Scientific Superstar". In reality it has been an ongoing lo-fi experiment that has been made up of mostly homemade samples, various drum machines, and drum loops taken from abums from the 70's/80's. Most of the songs are arranged using a sample tracker and then recorded into a cassette based 4-track. Many different people have participated in this project, some willing, and some that never knew they were being recorded. Its still not known how many Spi Hunter songs there are, but they are still being written & recorded to this day
