About Me

Antony Field grew up with music in his life and in his soul. His father, guitarist Lawrence Field, was the founding member of Cold Blood, a successful R&B band of the 1960s San Francisco Experience. His mother, Sharon, is herself an accomplished jazz/blues vocalist. Having studied classical piano for over 6 years, family and friends encouraged Antony to explore his potential as a singer and, as a result, he began formal training. After graduating college with a degree in architecture, Antony moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music; sitting in with esteemed musicians and performing throughout the L.A. area, wherever and whenever possible. Antony established his ability as a songwriter with credits in the movie Totally Blonde, featuring music performed by singer Michael Bublé, as well as a nationally televised A&E Documentary, Oh Baby Now What. Antony achieved additional success as a finalist in both the prestigious John Lennon Songwriting Contest and the VH1 Song of the Year competition for his song, A Kiss From You one of ten original compositions in his independently produced album, All I Think About. Antony Field is determined to be a success. To quote a standard he is often heard singing, The Best Is Yet To Come.
