Star Assassin is a four-piece progressive alternative rock band from Melbourne, influenced by the Canadian and United States music scenes. The summer of 2007 finished up a long string of live touring between Newcastle and Geelong including festivals like ‘Goovin The Moo’ and ‘Dusty Days’, the band also filmed the music video for their first single titled ‘Hey Kid’. They spent Autumn in the studio recording before touring Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and playing more festivals. Spring 2007 saw them head back into the studio to put the finishing touches on their debut album
‘Bleeding To The Circle’, they also began preparing to release
their debut single ‘Hey Kid’ which is expected to be released nationwide
in June 2008.
The boys from Star Assassin will be promoting ‘Hey Kid’ in
Australia with several tours planned for dates including an
