Now, FOR FANS OF THE SPLIT-SCREEN EFFECT: You are welcome to pass the dutchie to the right hand side and scroll over there for more stuff that I hope edifies you and tickles your nether-regions. CREATURE COMFORTS, that's the one! And the new DOCTOR WHO, amazing!!! Not to mention (but I will): Chris Lilley's genius stuff, "We Can Be Heroes" and "Summer Heights High" - best show on TV currently, by miles!!!! The IT Crowd (sublime!), Rebus (insane into/outro music theme!). I mostly like British and Aussie telly shows. Of the few US things I enjoy, that would be the older stuff like F Troop, Hogan's Heroes, M*A*S*H, Father Knows Best, I Dream Of Jeannie, Bewitched, Rawhide, Laramie, My Favourite Martian,
Our Miss Brooks, Suzie, Lucy, Mickey Mouse Club (original version), Warner/Walter Lantz cartoons, Clutch Cargo, Lucky Luke, The Monkees, all that old stuff. But I do also like The Sopranos, Seinfeld, Mythbusters, Simpsons, Family Guy, Daria, Gilmore Girls,West Wing, Prison Break, Wonderfalls, Xena. Oz shows? Stupid Stupid Man, Norman Gunston, City Homicide, Homicide (original 60s with brown trilby hats and Studebakers), Fireflies, The Librarians, Welcher and Welcher, The Money or the Gun, Kath and Kim, Spicks n Specks, RockWiz, jtv, The Einstein Factor, The Chaser, Whiplash, My Name's McGooley - What's Yours?, Sea Change, Something In The Air, Home and Away, Countdown, RAAAAAAAGE, and gawd knows wot else. Brit stuff? So many. Fawlty Towers, Monty Python, Yes Minister/Prime Minister, Dalzeil And Pascoe, My Family, Ideal, The Miller and Armstrong Show, Blackpool, The Bill, The Line Of Beauty, Wire In The Blood (now, that's major heavy shit, that is), New Tricks, the new Robin Hood (starring Jason Armstrong), and the old version (starring Richard Greene), The Darkness Of Light, Taggart, Jeckyll, Teachers, Spooks, The Vicar Of Dibley, The Worst Week Of My Life, Doc Martin (worth it just for the singularly fantastic Joe Absolom, if not for the belligerence of Martin Clunes), Jam and Jerusalem, Stella Street, Star Stories, The Two Ronnies, Black Books, Cutting It, Rumpole Of The Bailey, The Brief, Prime Suspect, Murphy's Law, The Young Ones, Mr Bean, Grumpy Old Men/Women, Not The Nine O'Clock News, Monarch of the Glen, Hustle, The Office, Extras, Rose And Maloney, Shaun The Sheep, Sooty, Michael Parkinson, Little Britain, Catherine Tate, Life On Mars, Hyperdrive, The Royle Family, The Avengers, The Prisoner, Doctor Who, Bill & Ben The Flowerpot Men (get yer bong out for that one), The Persuaders, Minder, Wallace and Gromit... and of course, Inspector (Kommissar) Rex from Switzerland. That one is magnificent! (fantastic dawg). And little Poko from Canada, his doggie and Mr Murphy, his monkey friend. That blows my mind. Oh, we could be here for hours (pull up a comfy chair). I also like documentaries about wildlife and history and interesting insights into the human condition and this funky planet we inhabit. It would be nice to have HDTV Plasma, but I've got a decent new widescreen with a good picture and that will serve my needs.

Su Walton: "Horace Sippog and the Siren's Song". Best book ever. Or would honour go to "Puckoon" by Spike Milligan? Or the Holy Bible. I like simple things. No Proust or Sartre for me. I like my books to entertain and be informative. So sue me if I tell you that I am a complete Agatha Christie freak (and other writers in that idiom, such as Ngaio Marsh or Dorothy Sayers, but more contemporary and gritty writers like Ian Rankin too man), spy/suspense thrillers a la Frederick Forsyth and Robert Ludlum. Lewis Carroll, and C S Lewis for that matter. Enid Blyton. Poets like Ezra Pound, T.S. Eliot, all those dudes, Catcher In The Rye, Animal Farm. Maybe a bit of Stephen King on occasion. Nick Hornby's stuff. Hitchikers Guide To The Galaxy, Gridlock, Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?. I very much enjoy a good biography/autobiography. I like reading about someone's journey through life. Dictionary, thesaurus and atlas. I am a maniac for the ORIGINAL (not the current lesser versions) of Johnny Hart's incendiary comics: The Wizard Of Id and B.C. - you can't better it! Am big on music magazines: Record Collector, Mojo, Q, Word, Uncut and things like that. Rolling Stone is *occasionally* worth a look. FOFFLE mag (which I write for). Car mags. Gossip celebrity pulp from time to time. If you ever catch me with a copy of Playboy or Penthouse, I swear, your honour, that it's for the articles (nudge nudge, wink wink).
Myself, my family and my TRUE friends. And:myspace.com/nic_the_stic who prays for the salvation of your soul. As do I, cos YOU'RE my hero too (wouldn't have it any way otherwise, ya dig?). so get into this and dance like a dervish with me:THE MESS HALL: Keep Walking
