Too many & varied to list `em all, but check "About Me" for the ones that occupy most of my time
Everyone; have never met anyone---& I've been around the world---who didn't have something to offer , as long as I took the time to listen...
Any and virtually all; my criteria are more oriented towards talent than towards any particular genre. If pressed for "favorite artists", I'd say Pink Floyd, Dylan, The Dead, The Rolling Stones, The Brothers Johnson, Lynyrd Skynyrd, D.M.B., Led Zeppelin, Bob Seger, U2, Willie, Waylon, & the Boys, Todd Rundgren, The Band, Sara Evans, The Runaways, Steel Pulse, Rascal Flatts, CMB, Heart, Uncle Cracker, Aerosmith, R.E.M., Nickleback, Atlanta Rhytym Section, The Temptations, and the Marshall Tucker Band @ the top of my list; so ya can tell I'm very eclectic in my tastes...being a dancer, and from South Carolina, shag/beach music have to go right up there, too
No particular faves here, I like any well-made movie on any subject matter...But can't deny my fondness for the LOTR trilogy
Since I repair Big-Screen TV's for a living, I have many channels on all day every day in my lab, and so I can't say I really have a favorite show. I am partial to the "educational" channels---History Channel, Discovery, Animal Planet, Nat'l Geographic, ETV, etc.; if I'm gonna watch something for enjoyment, I do like the Sci Fi Channel's original series, both of the 'Gates, Battlestar Galactica, as well as the new BBC adaptation of that old classic, Dr. Who. Not being real big on gore, chaos, or mayhem hasn't kept me from appreciating the Law & Order shows. Oh, & of course, I do like football, college(Roll Tide! & Go Gamecocks!; I'm also a fan of Auburn, Clemson, N.C. State, Purdue, Georgia Tech, Florida State, Rutgers, Texas A&M, Boise State, and Wofford to name a few)as well as pro(Dallas, Carolina, Tampa Bay, Seattle, Atlanta, and the Jets are my favorite NFL teams). Basically, though, I stay so busy don't have much time for TV
Any and all; have not nearly enough time to devote to it, but I am a voracious reader when I get a chance; no particular preference as to genre, tho' history(treatise, text, truth, propaganda, I don't care, I'll read any of it), classical philosophy, works on sports I enjoy(especially football), and science fiction are my most common choices...do read both the local paper & USA Today everyday
Thomas Jefferson, Marcus Aurelius, Crispus Attucks, Hannibal, Dolly Madison, Frederick the Great, Theodore Roosevelt, Nelson Mandela, Presley O'Bannon, Thomas Alva Edison, Boadicea, Ben Franklin, Jane Addams, the Venerable Bede, Voltaire, Themistocles, "Joe" Pythagoras, Cdr. George Sineath, the Great Bard---the list of folks I find admirable is too long for this page, really; and of course, parents, family, and even friends...
