So, who am I? This is a tricky question to answer as I’m not always entirely sure who I am from one moment to the next. lol. I am quiet, NOT shy...there is a difference. I am the most kind hearted and sincere person you might meet in your life, but if you break my heart, chances are I may not forget it. I also treat people how they treat me! ♥ I am married, and am blessed with two beautiful children. I am a Lupus Advocate, and love making lupus graphics when I find the time. I have Lupus(SLE) which is a chronic, sometimes life-threatening autoimmune disease in which antibodies attack the body’s own tissue. (In a nutshell, my body is trying to kill itself.) It can involve the skin, kidneys, blood vessels, joints, nervous system, heart and other internal organs. Although people with lupus may have many different symptoms, some of the most common include: fatigue , painful or swollen joints, unexplained fever, skin rashes, and kidney problems. There is no cure for lupus. My symptoms, sometimes disabling, are usually invisible. I know it’s hard for others to understand this, especially when I look the same on good days and bad. It might sound odd but when I hear, “You look so good”, I find myself wondering if you think I’m exaggerating. I know it doesn’t seem to make sense, but I can feel terrible and look fine. I’m not telling you all this looking for your pity or even your sympathy. I don’t feel sorry for myself and I don’t want you to feel sorry for me, either. I am speaking about my illness to help educate people. I strongly believe in the phrase - People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. People who lie, cheat, and steal have no place in my life...because if they are doing that to other people - they'll do it to you. And last...be real with me. Plain and simple, Fake people suck.
