I know right from wrong. Wrong is the fun one.

About Me

This layout was handmade with love by the folks at My space or yours? Go get one!

I'm a tall guy who can vary between classy sophisticate and giant nerd, with a somewhat obvious lean toward the latter. As always, if you want to buy me some ice cream, I'm down.Really? David Hasselhoff? Really? Well, I guess I would look pretty cool driving KITT around... And who the Hell is John Cage?

My Interests

2-man bobsledding, 2-woman bobsledding, 4-man bobsledding, guys named Bob who have sleds, sledding with bobble-heads, my sled Bob, taking a joke way too far until it dies a slow, painful, horrible death. And bobsledding.Other than that, I love living here in NYC, playing scrabble, auditioning as a full-time job, bartending as a part-time job, performing as a job I used to have and now miss very much. I love to read and/or listen to books - just finished Atlas Shrugged (AMAZING!), My Name is Asher Lev, A Long Way Down, and Love Monkey. I just discovered that I can download the New York Times to my phone & listen to it everyday! I'm a GIANT dork. I play on myspace, on my Xbox 360, on my guitar, party with friends, see shows, eat Entenman's bite-sized soft chocolate chip cookies, and go to classes. And I like boobies.

I'd like to meet:

Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie, Don Cheadle (he's not hot, but he is an amazing actor, and seemed really cool on Conan - somebody I'd like to hang out with). Oh. I guess I should describe the kind of person I'd be interested in meeting on MySpace. Well, if you found any of the above even remotely interesting, and you look like Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie, or Don Cheadle, I suppose I'd like to meet you... Seriously, though, I like to hang around cool people: people with a sense of humor (or humour, if you're British), people who feel grateful vs. entitled, people who have a good work ethic, people who are passionate, people who inspire. And monkeys. I like monkeys.

Music:

Lately I've been grooving to pretty much everyone else's myspace music - but I gotta admit, I love Amy Winehouse's "Rehab" - it speaks to me. Also, Tenacious D, Damien Rice, Johnny Cash, U2, REM, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Doors, Beatles, Maroon 5, Matchbox 20, other bands with numbers in them...

Movies:

mostly stupid comedies: 40 Year-Old Virgin, Dodgeball, Office Space, Swingers, Holy Grail, Princess Bride, Shaun of the Dead, Lord of the Rings, Austin Powers, more to come as I remember them...

Television:

Not TV - TV on DVD. HEROES!!! Lost, Rome, The Office, Arrested Development, and when I can, the Daily Show, Colbert Report, Dirty Jobs, Mythbusters. And anything about bees. and HEROES, baby, HEROES!

Books:

Okay - here's where I go off: I just read the new Al Gore book: The Assault On Reason. Why isn't this guy our president? I mean, what would "the initial" have done if he wasn't elected (oh, wait, he wasn't). Anyway, enough of my politics - read the book, it's amazing. The Earth is Flat (Thomas Friedman) - another excellent read. The God Delusion, Atlas Shrugged (it's been a long time since I read a book that I enjoyed AND that made me think - EVERYONE should read this book!), Fountainhead, Obama's "Audacity of Hope", Kite Runner, Middlesex, Ender's Game, Wheel of Time series, Harry Potter, Shannara series, The Game, Life of Pi, Relic, Hot Zone, Into Thin Air, Under the Banner of Heaven, Fast Food Nation, Freakanomics (another great read), Carl Sagan books, The Moral Animal: Why we are the way we are, Monkey in the Mirror, many more...

Heroes:

Tom Erickson. Take my word for it, the guy's a god.

A Convenient Request about "An Inconvenient Truth"

Okay, so yesterday I saw a film that I feel has and will continue to change my life.  I pretty nearly had a religious experience.  And if you know me, you know I'm not particularly religious...
