CONTROL UNDER MISDEED a.k.a CrUMs are the unambitiously kids group, sometimes like a hardcore band, sometimes like an unseriously workers, sometimes like a dreamer with full of hope whose over-seriously. Formed around mid of July 1999 in Depok city with effort to played 90s fast, bold and straight forward hardcore/punk music in generally, disharmony rhythmical, crusty and (or) grinding attack. A piece of influence from significant bands who gave us a spirit as follow Concrete Sox, Disrupt, (old) Extreme Noise Terror and Agathocles.CrUMs named is an abbreviation, at the first time thats CENTRAL UNDER MISDEED. Then Central changed became Control, because we would more like the meaning of Control for a misdeed or deeds of evil. So were feel matched to became a bands named and messages approach in our songs.The first performance at that times were : Choki (Throat), Adit (Guitar), Fahrul Ozy (Guitar), Ryan (Bass) and Anto (Drums). We were often changed a formation, and weve been felt a solid performance until existed at first 2001 among them Choki, Raymond, Adit, Ozy and Agus (ex-The Hooligan). The DIY HC/Punk Collective gig from AFRA (Anti Fascist and Racist action) in new year of 2001 is our last show. Then we had to vacuum for a long time because our two-member (Adit and Raymond) had been studied and lived in the other place/town (Bandung) and no time to existed in band. Then, they formed a metalcore band, Rottencheeseburger in their town. In the meantime, Choki had a full-time to work and became a vocalist in death-metal band until now, Delirium Tremens. Agus also formed a power-violence band, Unreasonal Hatred. Fahrul Ozy worked too, but wherever then he had been disappeared. Were totally vacuum.In the beginning of 2005, this unproductive band start again from Ozys intention with the last formation before vacuum, they were Choki, Adit, Fahrul Ozy, Agus and our new member, Sacha (Perfect Enemy, White Minority). But Choki left this band at April 2006, then Giant changed him for vocal position at May 2006. The music concept what we thought were still from the hardcore/punk rooted. But, at this moment there were a lil bit of melodious an out-of-tune notes. Now, we have inspired some bands who didnt really became our main influence, likes Ignite, Bane, Shai Hulud, Stretch Arm Strong, Bridge to Solace, Converge and Zombie Apocalypse. Were also put some elements beyond the typically musics of hardcore and punk. We would like to try to create our own music. Music isnt a solution, but the message and the application in the living everytime is our purpose.----------------------------------------------------
