About Me

I'm not bitter, I'm seasoned. I live simple so that others may simply live. I'm a stereotype of someone you've never met before. I'm "that guy". Most importantly, "I scoff at my rivals cause they ain't cool, and I rewrote the Bible and made my own rules." This video about sums it up.ONE LEARNS -one learns to endure because not to endure turns the world over to them and they are less than zero.to endure means to simply gut-it-out and the worse the odds the more enjoyable the victory.they say you must fight for your freedom. I know that. only I didn't fight the Japanese, the Italians, the Germans or the Russians for my freedom. I fought Americans: the parents, the school yards, the bosses, the ladies of the street, the friends, the system itself.there's no end, of course, to the fight. new difficulties arrive like a train on time. it may no longer be the hangover morning or the factory assembly line but treachery, deceit, and false hope take their place. I believe we are tested even as we sleep, and often it all gets so deadly we can only laugh it away.to endure takes some luck, some knowledge and a reasonable sense of humor because the cold have gotten colder, the strong stronger, the once-bold less-bold and all that's left for us is to consider the way the elephant stands silent in the forest waiting to die, the way men fail again and again and again, they way the priest forgets his prayers, the way love can turn to folly, or the way the cold rain soaks Mozart's grave. it's in spite of these and so many other things that one learns finally how to endure. - Charles Bukowski

My Interests

Music. Playing drums in my band Stone & Star and writing/recording/messing around/having fun with my own stuff. Listening and collecting vinyl, 8 tracks, CD's, cassettes, whatever it's on and the least amount I can pay for it. Check the dollar bin, you'll be amazed. Thrift stores, velvet paintings, fixing 8 track tapes. Driving with the top down in my 68 Plymouth Fury 3 convertible with the 8 track player blasted. Instant therapy right there people. Ladies, women, chicks, girls, dames, birds, whatever they're calling them these days as long as they're cool and keep my interest. Good movies, or at least what I think is good. Same with books. Altering my mind with sobriety is interesting, although you couldn't convince me of that in my 20's. My family keeps me interested and doesn't make me want to wonder off. As do my friends. ..mspobj type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowScriptAccess="never" allowNetworking="internal"

The O.C..

The college I attend has the fortunate initials O.C. So I will refer to it as just that. Having never watched the tv show of the same name (don't need to, I've seen 90210), The O.C. has been looming j...

Bianca, Bukowski, and a Headbanger's Journey.
