About Me

'How will you be defined in the dictionary?' at QuizGalaxy.comAbout me? Most of the people reading this already know me don't they? It doesn't seem very...logistical. But, for the records, I am 25, living in Lincoln, NE and attending UNL. I am majoring in anthropology. And no, that has nothing to do with bugs. Out of high school (ca 2000) I joined the Navy for six years, under the whole "nuclear power" thing. I spent most of that time pretending to be an electrician on the wonderful USS Tucson in Pearl Harbor, HI. It would have been wonderful, anyway, if pesky Hawaii hadn't kept interrupting the quality time I wanted to spend on the boat. I am recently sans Navy (as of August, 2006), and me encanta. Of course, most of the people reading this already knew all that. The picture is slightly out of date. I'll update it sometime...

My Interests

I like things. Things are good. Things that are good, anyway. Things that suck suck. Those are not good. So I suppose I am interested in the things in the non-sucking group. Although it should be noted that the things of the sucking variety are valuable for comparison's sake.

By M.C. Escher What Famous Work of Art Are You?

I'd like to meet:

Most people have this question easy. They can answer with my name. I already know me. Knowing other people only waters down the experience.

Music:

Warren Zevon, Mercury Rev, Devotchka, Hawthorne Heights, My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult, Luna, Guggenheim Grotto, Andrew Bird. And of course all the generic answers: classic rock, I listen to pretty much everything...., et cetera.

Movies:

Godfather, Office Space, Pulp Fiction, Clockwork Orange, Snatch, Anchorman. I enjoy those stupid-funny movies. Then of course the really good movies. Apocolypse Now. To be honest, I really don't watch movies at home all that much.
Your Famous Last Words Will Be:
"So, you're a cannibal." What Will Your Famous Last Words Be?

Television:

I stand by previous statements I have made that Seinfeld is the pinnacle of TV sitcoms. Other than that, Family Guy, South Park, Daily Show and Colbert Report, Discovery/History/National Geographic. Of course I don't have any cable right now, and don't really intend to get any (cable, that is). The whole topic may be moot.

Books:

Dostoevsky, Chuck Palinauk, Bret Easton Ellis. Heart of Darkness, Thus Spoke Zarathustra, The Stranger (Camus), Douglas Adams (Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy). You get the idea.

Heroes:
