.. width="425" height="350" ..In general, I like music with a lot of bass and wit beats you can dance to, a few fog horns and gun shots always a plus..i (not-so-secretly) want to be a dj and producer..i hate wackno/techno and that shit..and i HATE whiney boy-fronted rock bands but i do like the killers becuz i dont think they are whiney and i think they are the best rock band since iron maiden. i 333 dancehall, reggaeton, soca etc and i 333 hip hop and especially hyphy shit from da bay!!! and i am getting into 'grime' out here in london town and i do like sum JT and can appreciate pop music a-la- britney so long as my wonderful cousin is making a slutty dance routine to it..i 333 r&b, i like r kelly (sex in the kitchen anyone?!) and anthony hamilton and john legend and old school r&b especially sam cooke, otis redding, and marvin gaye and i 333 rock steady and ska and basiaclly every era and manifestation of reggae..i basically love music, if i were to describe myself in a simple mathematical equation it would be music + politics = me, if i was going to make that a more complex equation it would be (music + politics)^booze= me.. Gansta Movies definetly, I really want to see the Departed, I've seen the original but sadly forget the name of it but really loved it!! i don't like the good will hunting guy but I 3 leo especially since the aviator which i thought was an awesome movie...i also like hmmm...lets see..i like horror movies but i hate gorey ones, i basically hate violence in movies which think i'm a hypocrit all you want but i see a huge difference in simple gun shot violence or insinuated violence a-la- mafia movies and brutal 20 minute long rape scenes a-la- gorey, crappy movies..i like weird supernatural moveis and i like long slow movies as long as they are good..i also like really funny movies especially when i'm stoned.

I'm reading books for school so they are about globalization, political sociology, sociology, post-coloniality, gender, "race", post-structuralism etc etc etc. right now i'm reading about gender and nationalism and religion and politics. and i'm thinking of doing my dissertation on british and american discourse and policy regarding "aid" to Africa and how these discussions and practices are always gendered and racialized and basically neocolonial but also can be and are re-appropriated and re-directed in ways that challenge euro/american hegemony (sweet, i managed to fit "hegemony" into my section on Books...) anyway its in the pre-even-needing-to-think-about-it stage, but thoughts and feedback are always appreciated!
