So real quick, I am currently a partially enthusiastic fashion designer, and once I realize the idiocy, the superficialness, and/or shallowness of the industry...[but most likefully when I’m not feeling challenged enough]...I plan on going back to school to get my master's so I can teach a creative writing class. what makes for great art, is the courage to speak, write, paint... - what you know and care about -
the place where i have freedom most is when i paint.design.write... i am completely and utterly myself. it's more than a possible profession, it's even a therapy. for there, i just told it as it was.
.it takes a lot of courage in life to tell it how it is.
the outside world pressures you into a mold, but if you don't accept that - you gamble with life. when i decided that i'd become a 'professional' -
(this means to expose yourself naked to the world amongst the other creative minds), uncertainty grew & i thought, 'i'm going into areas i don't know. maybe i should just succumb to the faithlessness & forget about it.'
but then i thought, 'well who cares?
i'd rather do it and see what it's all about.'
