Travel, reading, politics, spending quality time with quality people and house-hunting (oh, let me dream, will ya?)
my future employer . . . or anyone who will hire me!
So many different things- Peter Mulvey, U2, Jamie Cullum Sting/Police, Cassandra Wilson, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, and all sorts of other things I hear on the local Public Radio station . . . and of course my husband, yea I'm a lucky girl!
Again - lots - yet I can't think of a single one that really stands out at the moment!
Watch too much of it - but I love documentaries on PBS - and good Masterpiece Theatre. I love travel programs and cooking shows too - they make it look so easy! Really liked West Wing, and then Studio 60 - - Chris and I have a strange obsession with CSI-Miami - if only to make fun of it!
Historical fiction, memoirs (loved the George Stephonopolous book a decade ago!), politicl/social commentary and even beach-reads from time to time!
My family - Sister (for her courage and patience with her special needs children. I know it isn't the life she wanted, but she is doing an amazing job with it!) , Mother (for her strength and generosity, and for the fact that more than three years after her death, I still want to make her proud and try to be even just a fraction of the person she was). Father (usually - for his kindness, sense of humor, and generosity. He is the classic "gentle giant"). The amazingly strong women I was fortunate to be surrounded by when I was growing up. And finally, my husband who moved 4000 miles, gave up family and friends all to become my family and my best friend - - how heroic is that?
