Canopus

We got together about a year ago & started writing songs, there's more to it I'm sure so hopefully someone will fill this bit in properly one day....... Anyways, here's a review from the recent Imp-Hut floating showcase..................Canopus got straight into the whole vibe of the night, arriving dressed in pirate costumes and instantly encapsulating the crowd with their Killer sound (pun intended!), which simply begged to be heard at a greater volume. Is the world ready for another northern indie band? I think so! Powerful, energetic, and at times anthemic, yet never taking themselves too seriously as was reflected in their final track; a cover of Rod Stewarts' I Am Sailing.
