art, art, art, dance, art, music, music, music, reading, writing, ya think I said art enough???? you can never say art enough....ART! its what I live breath eat dream love die for. Anything creative be it art, dance, music, poetry gets me going. Don't get in between me and my art or else....I keel you ..
Creative artistic people with a different mind set. Not afraid to question things and who's idea of a good time isn't clubbin. I enjoy a good bar but other than that...meh I want to get to know people who want to fight for what they believe in and aren't afraid of getting in a bit o' trouble while doin it :D
From Rage against the machine to fat boy slim I enjoy a wide variety of music. Not a HUGE fan of mainstream but I can tolerate it.
If I were to list them all...it would be a few hours genre wise foreign indie drama comedy (not a big fan of romantic movies)
Not a big TV person I prefer movies.
Whatever gets me thinking. Villa Incognito, The Iliad, The Most Evil Men and Women in History, The Last Nazi, Killers: The most barbaric murders of our times, The Odessey, House on Mango Street, and more. Eventually, this list will continue to grow.
You want a list????? Here goes:
God, Mom, Dad, Sisters, Friends, US Soldiers (1ST CAVALRY HOORAAH! ARMY BRAT ALL THE WAY BABY!), Ghandi, Young Lords (Puerto Rican activist group in NY during the 70's), Cesar Chavez (fought for Migrant workers rights), Roberto Clemente (1st Puerto Rican to play major league baseball. Played for Pittsburg Pirates), Rita Moreno (First Latina to win an Oscar, Emmy, Golden Globe and Tony YOU GO GIRL!),
Arthur Schomberg aka Arturo Alfonso Schomberg (an afroborinqueño or Black Puerto Rican who started Black history, Rosie Perez (wierd yes wrong...NO she protested along with many other Puerto Ricans to make the Vieques a nature reserve instead of a test area for weapons and for that she along with all the other Puerto Ricans who protested are my heroes!), Fridha Kahlo (made the unibrow look good and made some wicked awesome art in the process)
I can go on and on about who my heroes are but I'll stop and say anyone who is strong and not afraid to speak their minds is my hero!
