DJ Darkotic - Founder of foundation drum & bass, based in glastonbury promoting the local talent. My name is Dan, I work as a stage constructor for Serious stages at music events and festival all around the country. I am currently working for butlers hire in australia. I allso own a sound & light rental company - www.foundation.8k.com. I live in a small town called Glastonbury in Somerset, England, I promote events called foundation for the drum and bass scene in this area. Im 19 years old and i DJ & Produce drum & bass. Ive been DJing for around 5 years now and Producing for about 2 years. Influences: Dillinja and Lemon D with there valve sound system have been a big influence on me, ever since i went to my first valve night ive been addicted to bass. shortley after i saved up enough money to buy my own pair of scoop bass bins so i could feel some true bass!!!! I have tried building my own bass bins but nothing compares to the desighn of the scoop bass bin, they are definatley the best for the stomach churning bass and thats what i love! Allso producers like generation dub, Hazard, clipz, TC and pendulum have been big influences. The local djs Interface where a big influence when i first started producing as i shared a studio with them and they tought me a thew things. The biggest influence to my djing has to be Andy C, seeing him at partys and listening to cds he allways pulls off a pritty much perfect and amazing set.
