Top recruit commits to MSU basketball ( DetNews ) March 6, 2007

Delvon Roe, ranked as a top-5 player nationally for the class of 2008, confirmed this afternoon that he has made a verbal commitment to play basketball at Michigan State.April 17, 2007

Roe, who can't sign a letter of intent until November, chose the Spartans over North Carolina. He made the announcement at his high school, Lakewood St. Edward, near Cleveland.

Roe, a 6-foot-8 forward, averaged 21 points and 10 points last season as a junior.
