About Me

AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH enough with the cheese already!
A humble WELCOME....
AN UPDATE
I have that long awaited vinyl...thanks to the lovely Michelle. I have flip flops, already too many mojitos. And am almost on my way to Holland...mmmmmmmm, bring on the clogs and cheese! Amongst other things of course.......
So far:
This year started with a bang - I got to hang out with Jarvis in November...how VERY exciting - well, along with hundreds of other folk at Koko in London - thanks to (my good friend)ANDY...Andy, you're a star! Even The Killers sang about your stardom.
So yeah, I have reminiscent flashes of the gig at KOKO - it brings a huge smile to my face, every once in a while over a Mocha. It was certainly the end to a beautiful year.
2007, mmmm what's in store, let's hope loads of sunshine, late mornings in bed, lazing on beach sand and tons of SPF...and other stuff that I'm not sure I can confess...unless, no, not on this page...it'll cause all the rage.....haha, ok no more rhyming!
But most of all, I would like: Mojitos more often, a proper coffee machine, a massage every now and again, the start of a vinyl collection. OH AND postcards instead of emails or myspace messages from my friends abroad! Buggers!!
PS. I'm investing in more flip-flops, it's a pre-requisite for this year.

So Last Year:
Hello all, I am delighted that you have taken the time to join me here, a little insight...Hate mornings and cheerful people in the morning who talk too much. Would rather have red wine than white, however white's not bad if it's the only option. Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate. Am bored alot of the time, except when I'm listening to Jarvis Cocker and Robert Plant etc. Can't stand musicians who think they're musicians just because they're on stage. Highlight of this year was stumbling upon the Roger Waters concert - thanks to our mysterious ticket guy...angel, angel, angel.
That's it for now
All my love
Z

My Interests

Are you really interested? mmmmm...odd people

I'd like to meet:

People who think that they are never understood and couldn't care less. Honest people - or people who almost always say what they mean. People minus that slapstick humour - just does not sit right with me. Um, Ben Stiller, John Cleese...Oh and of course Jarvis Cocker - just to sit down, have a chat and possibly a cigarette or two.

Music:

The Beatles, Pulp, The Cure, The Eagles, David Bowie, Foo Fighters, The Libertines, A-ha, Led Zeppelin (greatest band ever), U2, Paul Weller, The Rolling Stones, Radiohead, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Pink Floyd, The Kinks, The Doors (Jim Morrison rocks), The Killers, Muse etc etc. And of course loads of guilty pleasures I'm not revealing!

Movies:

Anything funny. I loved Dodgeball...spandex, sweatbands and Ben Stiller's moustache ALWAYS gets me. Eternal sunshine of th e spotless mind - or something like that. Oh and some horror...

Television:

Curb your enthusiasm. One foot in the Grave. Fawlty Towers. Basically anything, except Big Brother - it's the worst show ever invented.

Books:

Anything that isn't garbage like Nick Hornby's High Fidelity, The Time Traveller's Wife, JM Coetzee, Classics like Dickinson, Orwell, Faulkner etcetera etcetera ...

Heroes:

Courtney Love....sometimes, Jarvis Cocker...most times, Friends...alot of the time, Pete Doherty when he's singing...mmm Billy Idol (just for his hair), Mr Nelson Mandela...always.
