The World Through The Lens of My Camera

About Me

It's just me... A man trying a new lease on life; one that will carry me on a path of a better understanding of myself... I'm 49 year olds and have been set back many times in my life. Not by any fault of others; but by the lack of understanding of myself and a deep sense of trust in those who have instilled a false sense of being. I'm still in search of who I really am. I feel that time is running out. I may never know who I am, or what my purpose was on this earth...I find myself on a good path in life at times; then slowly I drift off course and onto an unfamiliar path, which sways me away from the pure enjoyment of life. I'm not sure why; I guess I'm not in tuned to the rhythm of what life is all about. I cry out, but there's no one who hears, or could understand my deep feelings that plague my true sense of living. Am I alone, or are there others who feel as I do?That's me in the photo above, walking around with camera in hand, and weapon slug over my shoulder locked and loaded. I was an Army Photojournalist/Combat Photographer. I'm now retired after 24 years of military service.
